Yumi Beautiful Rose Hip Oil Review

Hey hunnibees!
I recently got to try out Yumi Beautiful's Rose Hip Oil.
I've been seeing a lot on this oil so was excited to try it out.  RHO is filled with antioxidants, vitamins, and fatty acids. It acts as a great nourishing and hydrating treatment for your hair, skin and nails. Yumi's RHO being cold pressed means that you get more nutrients as well since they haven't been altered.
The only cons for me was the product lasting only four weeks and having to be stored in the refrigerator- but that's not a big deal to me. (:
I can't speak for the effects on my face since I didn't want to break out but it worked great on my hair, lips, and nails!
It definitely helped me stretch my haiyr while it was straight.
Also, this could just be me, but it smells like tea which added to me liking it.
I give this product 5/5
Have you tried RHO if so how do you use it?
Love,hunni

Victoria's Secret Sport Review [Courtesy of Influenster]

Ahh, are these possibly two of my favorite things? Why, yes they are, thanks to Influenster I was able to review the new Incredible by Victoria's Secret Sports Bra!
I also got an amazing pair of VS Knockout tights and 25% off coupons to share with friends and family.<3

I flipped when the box came and my face lit up! The bra design is amazing and it has this cute back design that is really unique ( I'll probably add a picture of it here).
The straps and material are comfy but sadly I got a 36 D instead of my usual 34 D/DD. I advise if you're getting one of their sports bra's that you go in for a fitting (=. I can't fully rate this since it wasn't my size but it held up well despite the fact, the only thing I would change is adding adjustable straps to this one! I'll decide if I want to break up with my sports bra once I try on an Incredible that is my size. All in all, I love cute workout clothes that actually function well so VS Sport is definitely on my list now.
I will be wearing the sports bra under a shirt of course (too much up top right now lol.) I highly recommend you try their sports line for yourself.
Cute and fit for the win!

This is a sponsored blog post. Influenster provided me with complimentary Victoria's Secret products to test and review as part of a contest.

Beauty By Shea Review& Giveaway CLOSED (=

Hey hunnibees!
I'm back with a review i've been looking forward to, thanks to Beauty By Shea I was able to try out 100% raw organic unrefined shea butter.
This was new for me as I had never used shea butter, surprising right? (except trying my sisters on my skin once.)
Shea butter has numerous benefits and has a great mix of emollients with Vitamins A, E, F & K.

  • Natural SPF, great for skin and hair protection from UV rays
  • Great for irritated skin and scalp problems, whether your scalp is itchy or you have dandruff (shea absorbs into the scalp and doesn't clog your pores)
  • Amazing sealant to lock in moisture and produce softening effects
  • Natural heat protectant ( can't wait to try it next time I straighten my hair.)

There's so many uses for shea butter that it's pretty much an all around great product
  • Caring for your cuticles
  • Lip balm for soft, moisturized lips
  • Healing of scars
  • Eyelash/Eyebrow growth
  • Helps to lay down edges
  • And much more! (=
I recently used the shea butter for a twistout instead of my usual coconut oil and must I say...I LOVE IT. The shea butter gave a natural stretch to my twistout and the shine was gorgeous. This will definitely become a staple to my twistouts.

Esutra's Golden Flaxseed Review

Hey hunnibees!
I've always wanted to try out flax seed and I finally had the chance to review some (=
These flaxseeds are by the company Esutra's (this company has amazing stuff by the way)

Also the flaxseeds are so pretty, this picture does no justice. If you haven't heard much about flax seeds here are some benefits:
  •   source of Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and lignans that exhibit a number of properties that are essential to good health.
  • Fights Heart Disease, High Cholesterol
  • Fights Cancer, Diabetes, Constipation
  • Is a Brain food and helps with ADHD + Memory Loss
  • Anti-Inflammatory -Helps decrease inflammation
  • Helps with Weight Loss
  • Great for PMS + menopausal symptoms -including Hot flashes
To yield these great benefits you should grind the flaxseed, but, alas I haven't been able to grind them. I've ate them sprinkled on salad but you wont get the true benefits without it being ground down. Luckily there has been something i've been wanting to try forever..FLAXSEED GEL.

Hair Benefits:
  • Encourages hair growth
  • Supple, moisturized, shiny hair
  • Low price for lots of product yield
  • Nourishing for the hair
  • Great definition without the crunchy feeling

You'll be seeing my post on the hair gel soon, stay tuned.

How I Achieve A Heatless Blowout

Hey Hunnibees (=
I loooove doing hair posts, maybe this will become a weekly thing since i'm always trying something new whether it be a style or product.

This post is going to be on no heat blowouts,
this is my favorite method for quick stretching of natural hair and maybe it'll be yours soon as well.

What I Did:
1. Washed my hair with ORS HAIRepair Invigorating Shampoo
2. Conditioned with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist
3. Applied Cantu Shea Butter Leave In on soaking wet hair
4. Coated hair with Vatika Coconut Oil ( I love this oil but I will be finding another coconut oil to replace it)
5. Sectioned off hair while in shower and twisted it
6. Let hair dry while wrapped in t-shirt
7. When hair is still damp its time to blow dry(I have a blowdryer with a cold setting, if you don't use your coolshot button and use a heat protectant.)
8. Mid way through blow drying I apply Carols Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey which makes their hair more smooth and set.
9. Optional- twist while blowdrying for soft, silky twistout.

Blowdry&Twist

Note: Tangle Teezers work great for heatless blowdrying, if you want your hair to be smoother follow up with a denman or paddle brush.

The Outcome:

No styling

Light Styling

Twistout

What's your favorite? Have you ever used this method on your hair? I love the versatility of natural hair (:
